Looking for a Few Heroes

I need your help in order to provide me the opportunity to fulfill one of my dreams of directing a script that I wrote. After producing four features and various shorts I still aspire to be a director.

"Life After" has already proven to be a solid script by being awarded first place in the Carolina Video & Film Festival along with winning second and third place is other festivals.

I'm not wanting to make this film just to be another aspiring director with a short film like so many thousands of starving artists out in Hollywood. I want to make this film and take it all the way to Oscar because, lets be honest, you don't get noticed in this town without making a little noise. And no one screams as loud as a little golden naked man.

I've been working various production and post jobs in television and features for the last five years, from PA to Post Supervisor to Producer. I know I have enough contacts now to make this short with only the best in front of and behind the camera. I only plan on working with the best of cinematographers, editors, talent and so forth. I already have the backing of Match Frame Video, a post facility in Burbank, CA, who have agreed to an extreme reduction in rates to online "Life After". They not only believe in the project, but they believe in me.

Now, I'm asking you to help me make "Life After" come to fruition to it's fullest potential. There are three ways you can contribute to "Life After":

    1) Donate through IndieGoGo.com

    2) A contribution of services in kind. If you have an HD camera you'd like to donate to the filming or goods and services, please feel free to contact me directly to work out the details at carrie@ursaproductions.com.

Thank you for the interest in my film and if you still have questions please feel free to contact me at anytime. I look forward to hearing from you and receiving any donation you can offer.

Best regards,

Carrie Lynn Certa
